Coming-of-Age Day Is Right Around the Corner!

     Today I listened to "Coming-of-Age Day Is Right Around the Corner" of Hiroshima University's English Podcast.      They talked about short story about what to buy for the celebration of adulthood. This story is summarized below. Hana, who has a younger sibling who turns 20 this year, talk to Alex, who has a younger sibling who turned 20 last year, about what to buy on her sibling's 20th birthday. He told her he bought a VR headset for his younger sibling. However he reveals that is was a gift for he wanted to do. He suggests she give her younger sibling a handkerchief. She says it is inappropriate as gift because it express sadness. Veganism Even for Christmas?

     Today I listened to "Veganism Even for Christmas?" of Hiroshima University's English Podcast.      They talked about "veganism". This agreement is summarized below. Being vegan is great for your health. And it's also ethical because you don't need to hurt your animal. In addition, that is good for the environment. Animal agriculture for meat production emits the second  greatest amount greenhouse gases after the use of fossil fuels, so you can see how bad it is for the environment. You don't have to force yourself to be vegan, but just cutting your meat consumption is your health and the environment.      I'm not sure I can be vegan. As in the beginning, humans are carnivorous in nature. In addition , if you don't eat meat, you will not able to build muscle and you will not be able to depend on animal-based products such as fur.
